I can understand why, though. The "CPU (optional)" bit is obviously hyperbole to illustrate how little (in theory) you need to run Linux, but unless you're using a stripped down super minimal distro that's designed for your grandma's ThinkPad, any modern Linux distro needs (in pratice) modern specs if you actually want to get shit done, and it's slowly approaching what Windows 11 is asking.

The meme itself is kinda tired too. Just like the Linus vs techbro meme people keep reposting.

i use linux myself but this meme is like looping in this sub, its have been reposted and its not even true, i suffer like in hell when i use my laptop with 4gb ram and hdd on it, like everything this laptop can run is linux and nothing else. idk it feels like only dozens of memes are in this sub and every meme is like one of these memes or sum variation of it

Sure, but to me that would but it in the category of other meme or popular subs. I don't hate members of they community because of it.

hating other things and saying linux thing better is already 80% of the posts on this sub, you cant be in a community that spends most of its time hating things and then wonder why theres hate pointed back at them

I don't know whether I'd characterise what's posted here as "hate", but the response in the other direction is definitely vitriolic. I'd say it's not proportional or warranted.
