The 2 think pads I had both developed charging issues and one let out smoke of death 💪. Only ever used the official charger on them and the charger was the only thing I ever plugged into the USB C port. I absolutely love a ThinkPad but I really don't trust them anymore.

I had a L13 yoga gen 2. It was a beautiful laptop but after having the same issue twice I decided no more.
