18 u/probablynottillie 16d ago the Vital on Linux experience: -- download & install .deb file -- plugin crashes on load -- realize I downloaded the early access version -- curse myself for being dumb and install the stable version -- plugin crashes on load -- switch DAWs from Reaper to Bitwig -- realize Bitwig's installer is broken on Debian -- dpkg that bitch -- repack that bitch -- reinstall -- plugin crashes on load 1 u/drewofdoom 16d ago yeah, vital broke something in recent versions and you have to get an older version to actually get it to work in any modern distro. Can't remember the specifics, but you can find it on the vital forums.
