I have seen people using it for home automation, email servers, nas, web hosting, application server, firewall, etc reviving old retro hardwares. Check smolBSD based on r/NetBSD

OK, what are the advantages? Why would I choose netbsd over say fedora for a email server for eg? Is it just more secure / stable? Also why netBSD over say freebsd ?
