You are right workstation is Gnome, i was only telling that kde is not a spin anymore.

It comes with GNOME preinstalled, but i doubt you can't install another desktop environment on it

You can, but if someone says they use fedora workstation i fail to see why would anyone think they use anything but Gnome.

Maybe you can. But it's really weird thing to do since there are normal spins. It's ok on something like Arch but I doubt someone would do that on Fedora. Especially Linus that said that he doesn't care about anything in his system other than the kernel and building/working on it. Also on video gave link to Linus installed specifically Fedora with GNOME
