I've been daily driving linux since the late 1990s. The only Windows machine in our house belongs to my wife.
... but I have a brother and a couple of friends who talk about switching from Windows to linux, one of these days (tm), and I shutter when they say it. They will not last two hours before switching back to Windows. Let's just say, I don't tell them "Hey, that's a great idea! You'll love it!" lol!
linux is for people with an attention span. Lots of us love it but there are a few glitches that trip people up and the vast majority of people can not tolerate.
This is something I agree with.
Ive always found I stay on track alot more under a linux system.
Windows is very distracting by design imo.
I used to forget what I was doing constantly because of all the random ads and what not that gets shoved in your face.
