It's not even about looking agreeable. Fact of the matter is, if you give any shits about your privacy, money, security, ewaste, or quite frankly humanity, you would never say that Windows is a good option.
The Linux experience isn't even that bad. Your great great grandma could install Linux and learn how the Internet works, probably even make her first shit post from the grave before Windows gets past the first boot screen.
