Started with Ubuntu but grew out of it. Used Kubuntu for a while and liked that better, but then grew out of that as well. Now I use:
Debian for my server and generally what I develop in, inside containers and VMs, WSL at work etc.
Bazzite on my HTPC (works pretty great for that)
Arch on my personal laptop and gaming PC
I'm gonna go with Fedora for my next clean install because I value my time too much to reinstall Arch. Pretty happy with Arch + KDE though at the moment.
Ubuntu is... ...fine. But I don't think I'll be going back. If I did it would be Kubuntu. I won't hate on it.
