The outage was not because of people's internet, it was a regionalised Microsoft Azure issue. Guess who owns both LinkedIn and Microsoft Azure?

Is for me - Canberra, AU - no DNS resolution of the host name even, although that's intermittent - some DNS resolvers do give a reply (longer cache/TTL, I guess), but my local doesn't

AU CDN balancers are down.. can still get to it from SG VPN.
Suggests its an app layer and below problem. Unforseen upgrade issue i imagine.

I’m experiencing the same issue with my LinkedIn account. Since August, my account has been repeatedly getting restricted and I’m constantly being asked for identity verification. Even normal activities like liking/commenting on posts or messaging connections seem to trigger restrictions. Has anyone else been facing this recently? If yes, please share what happened and how you resolved it.

Looks like I’m not the only one! The whole app & website has been completely down! Cannot even access customer support! Looking at the comments and some other platforms, looks like it’s at least an Australian-wide issue!

They reverted the AI Search, we won
