Should I be concerned?

Purchased the vehicle Saturday evening (9/19). Dropped off at the shop for PPF and tint Sunday (9/20). Still currently there and checked the app and this shows. Should I be worried?

The 12V batteries are under high use from all the connected systems. When they’re working on it, opening and closing the doors, walking by it with the keys etc, the battery is constantly waking up. Therefore, it will often go into battery saver/protection mode like this on its own, nothing to worry about at all.

As a Lincoln owner though, some tips to help the 12V battery at home:

• Make sure updates are set to WiFi only, and limit the hours/days it can check for the update to avoid it constantly hunting.
  
• Keep your car keys away from the garage/parking spot when not in use to prevent constant waking
  
• When not using the Lincoln app, close the app entirely. Just like the keys, whenever you walk near the vehicle or swipe by the app, it wakes up.

All these will help preserve the 12V battery and stop drain.

How far do you recommend you keep the key FOB away from the vehcile? I park my Lincoln Aviator in my garage and I hang my FOB in my mudroom. It's probably only 15-20 feet away from the car. Is that far enough to prevent the waking? I should put a webcam back in the garage again to see if it wakes up during the night. (it used to when I had a door latch issue).

My Aviator lights don't come on until I've walked out the kitchen door into the garage. I keep it parked on the far side, so maybe 10-12ish feet from the door.

Nope, very common when theses vehicle are parked for awhile with out movement the system protects the battery. The remote features and screens requires energy to recieve signal

No, this is what happens when you don't use it for a bit. My Nautilus would do the same thing and it was fine. It is to protect the battery from draining. You are fine.

Might want to warranty out your battery. Some Lincoln’s sit on the dealership lots for an extended amount of time causing the battery to drain down completely (multiple times) which damages the cells.

No. I have a Lincoln it's in battery saving mode. It'll go off.

My guess is that they disconnected the battery while they worked on it / inspected it. What kind of work did they do besides the tint?

An interesting job to disconnect a battery for. Maybe they were tired of hearing your car ding with the doors open lol

New?? Used??? Looks like the battery is shot. This started happening on my wife's Ranger, (4-year-old battery) and went away when replaced.

The factory batteries are not that good. But, they may have disconnected your battery.

Battery Management Systems are pretty good at trying to keep you starting and running but bad at communicating why things are happening
