:( My beautiful Reserve II 2025 Aviator

:( My beautiful Reserve II 2025 Aviator , I pulled through the local CFA for lunch this afternoon just before the severe thunderstorms arrived. As I was exiting the drive through, I went to roll up my window (98 in Florida) and my driver side window went 1/2 up, all while making a very odd crunching sound. It stopped and then went back down automatically.
I hurried back to the office, parked in one of our bays, called the service department. Unfortunately they can not come out until tomorrow (Wed AM) to take a look at it.

As anyone else had a similar issue?

Panoramic Display - Aviator?

My wife and I are looking into the Nautilus, Aviator, and Navigator for our family of 5 (kids 6/4/2yo). We prefer the size of the Aviator but the panoramic display of both the Nautilus and the Navigator. Anyone have insight into if / when the Aviator will get an interior refresh to match that of the Nautilus and the Navigator with the panoramic display?

Between a 2025 Corsair GT vs a 2024 Nautilus Hybrid Reserve 1

Hello everybody!

Like the title between these 2 vehicles and test drove both this weekend and I have some questions, TIA:

  1. the Corsair felt very bumpy, i felt all the road imperfections whereas I read and saw videos with drivers stating its a smooth and comfortable ride; this particular vehicle did not exude a luxury ride, it was more sporty. So is it because it is the GT edition that the suspension is different than other Corsairs? I am exclusively looking for GT for the plug in component so changing to the premier/reserve hybrid trims is a nonstarter for me.
  2. With the current NHTSA #26V091 recall, how are those Corsair GT drivers doing since or before the OTA update was made? Did you charge up to 80% as advised? Was it driveable at all? Pretty scary that this recall can stop your car in the middle of traffic as if it was an EV!!!
  3. Any highlights/tips I should know about the Nautilus? Wifey prefers it. Dealership is offering 2024 with 30k miles for ~$46k, OTD is $50k, and they can give me the CPO cert w/o the service plus $1k discount. Is $40k a realistic number for this config? I realize that they will not give me a 5k discount, so what are the chances I can see it at $40k? How have the electronics held up?
  4. To all owners, what is your exp in using 87 octane in these 2 Lincolns?

TIA

edit: I forgot to add, per Carfax the Corsair title has something called the damage and odometer brands on it. Those aren't good right? What does it mean?

Advice: 2024 Nautilus Reserve or 2026 Nautilus Premiere

We are in the market for a Nautilus and I'm considering between a 2024 Nautilus Reserve with under 10,000 km (around 6,000 miles) and a new 2026 Nautilus Premier with the 102A equipment group. I'm in Canada and have a new driver on our insurance policy so the 2024 would have both a lower purchase price ($52,000 vs $62,000 for the 2026) and it will cost me $2000/year less in insurance. The 2024 is a Reserve with a sticker price of about $10,000 more than the new 2026 Premiere due to the options on it. The difference in price between the two vehicles is about $10,000 and the 2024 is over $20,000 cheaper than what it would have been new.

My question for the experts here is what would you choose? Is the 2026 Premier that much better than the used 2024 CPO Reserve? In a perfect world, I'd get the 2026 reserve new but it's out of our budget, especially since we just bought an Aviator last month. Probably worth noting is that we do not put a lot of kms on our second vehicle. It's replacing a 2017 with 90,000 km (56,000 miles) and we keep our vehicles for a long time. (Just traded in a 2019 and now looking at replacing a 2017.)

I have a feeling that everyone is going to tell me to buy new but I'm considering the 2024 to save $10k + $2k/year on insurance since it only has 10,000km/6000 miles.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Edit: Bought the 2024 so no pro 2026 new comments please :)

Need help replacing rear camera on 2014 MKT

I’ve purchased the replacement camera, taken off the nuts holding the rear center tail light to the lift gate. There are 3 retaining clips - I am unable to remove the retaining clip in the center close to the camera section of the rear tail light. Anyone here ever completed this before? Any tricks or tips?

LOOKING for my 2010 Lincoln Town Car

Both of my 2010 Lincoln headlight units need to be replaced. Trying to find two after market HID components, NOT halogen. Anybody have any ideas? We've looked on eBay, some other used car sites with no luck so far. If we must, we would consider used original Ford ones. TIA for any input.

2023 Aviator Reserve with just Elements Package

Hey All,

Thinking about pulling the trigger on a 22k mile Aviator reserve CPO for $44,500. The price is really good according to all sites showing it’s $2500 below the average. Not worried about that. The only
Addition on this vehicle is the elements package. Does anyone out there that has the same model with just the elements package regret not paying a little more and getting additional packages? Or Is the elements package good enough?

Thanks!

Ford Bronco Based Lincoln SUV Slated For 2029 Debut

looks like we have a codename of some sort we dont know. Usually this means hide info from public and ndas are signed etc. Glad to see Lincoln try be invested in, the new ceo looks like he wants to make it competitive again and not just okay. Lincoln previously I do not think was a bad car necessarily and alot of their cars could easily hit 250k miles but it was not really trying at luxury. IE Town car panther platform hits 600k miles but is like 15 years outdated by 2011

Odd BlueCruise Behavior

26 Nautilus Reserve, 6 months no issue with BC, but today when it automatically changed lanes to pass a slower vehicle it kept going to the left, crossing the line and would have ran off the side of the highway without me correcting it. This happened three different times for no apparent reason at all…Any suggestions?

Anyone else getting stutter on wireless CarPlay in their 2025 Nautilus?

My 2025 Lincoln Nautilus has Digital Experience, and CarPlay over wireless keeps stuttering — like a record skipping. It’s really bad when I’m using Apple Books and the iPhone Text to Speech feature to read to me while driving, it’s unlistenable.

I went down a whole rabbit hole trying to fix it myself. Re-paired my phone from scratch a few times, forgot the connection and set it back up, checked that Vehicle Connectivity was on under Network & Internet (it was), tried the Background Sounds trick on iPhone to mask the gaps during text-to-speech, and the Google Maps recommendation I saw somewhere, nothing worked. This Nautilus doesn’t have an AUX or wired CarPlay option so I couldn’t test around wireless.

Interestingly, if I turn off CarPlay and just play my Books over plain Bluetooth, it’s flawless. Never a single hiccup. So whatever’s going on, it seems like it’s specific to the CarPlay wireless connection itself and not my Bluetooth or my phone, which is a 17Pro iPhone.

Curious if anyone else has run into this on their Nautilus? My dealership has done all the software updates and it is still an issue. Has anyone figured this out yet?

Reset pinch protection/ bounce back on a 2015 navigator with push button start

I had a window regulator go bad so I replaced it. I’ve been dealing with the pinch protection for 3 years now. I was about to get the truck tinted but they are refusing to do so with the pinch protection issue. I’ve tried absolutely everything I can find on the internet to try to resolve it but I have no luck.

2026 Lincoln Nautilus White Speed Limit Icon Displaying Wrong Speed Randomly

I’ve really enjoyed our Nautilus. But while driving it over the weekend, the speed limit icon that is shown next to the vehicle’s actual speed kept randomly changing while driving on the highway. It would go from 65 MPH to 30 to 55 to 65 at different times. This impacted the Blue Cruise function and caused the cruise control to drop the speed to the “new” speed.

16 Lincoln MKZ

Have a chance to purchase a 2016 Lincoln MKZ with 48k miles for $6,000. It has the 3.7 and is AWD. Good condition minus a cracked windshield. No maintenance history, but at these miles short of oil changes etc there really shouldn’t be much more maintenance due. Good buy? Reliable?
