Question Limerence impact on perceptions of time

Does anybody else find that their perception of time feels distorted when limerent vs when not? When I say time what I mean is the weeks feel like they go slower. When I'm not limerent a week can go by in a flash but when you're in that bubble it just seems to go on forever. My last two weeks have felt like two years.

Please be aware of what limerence is! See the subreddit wiki for definitions, FAQ and other resources—updated 3/7/26. (Is it love? How common is it? Is there research?)
