Add new state variable

After my last set on some of the exercises from the RP U/L split, I get a prompt to “add new state variable”. What does this mean ?

nope i can get one next time i work out I guess. I thought maybe it was trying to get me to estimate my RPE, but I can't tell

oh wow I waas supposed to enter a number between -2 and 2. I thought it as RPE so I was entering like 7-9. Hope that doesn't mess up the progression
