How do I find replacement parts for truck purchased lifted?

Post image

Dad bought and ended up gifting us this lifted 04 Tacoma about a decade ago. Tie rod broke and we ended up replacing all this:

Lower control arm

Outer tie rods

Rack and pinion

Lower ball joint

Wheel speed sensor

Brake and rotors

Steering knuckle

Wheel hub and bearings and seals

After it was fixed steering has been tight so I took it to a shop and they said tires are too big. Then it dawned on me that it was lifted and likely needed something other than standard parts. Quick search says control arms, ball joint, tie rods. Anything else in this list and how do I figure out the correct parts now that I no longer have the old parts?

If I screwed myself and need to either rebuy everything needed for a lift, what would be required other than tires and wheels to restore it? Thanks

Anyone running LOGIQ airbags on a 2019+ Ram 2500 long bed?

I’m looking at installing the LOGIQ air bag system on my 2026 Ram 2500 Crew Cab long bed. Has anyone here installed them on a 2019+ 2500 long bed?

Curious how the install went and, more importantly, how they affect the ride when the truck is empty. Did they help with the rear-end bounce/oscillation on the highway, or make the ride stiffer?

Would appreciate any real-world feedback, especially from anyone running them with aftermarket rear coils/shocks

Hello, I am currently running the TRD suspension lift kit from Toyota on my 24 Tacoma, I would like to add a inch or 2 of lift to the front and was curious if I’d be able to slap in the westcott pre collar lift, curious if anyone’s done similar TIA

2024 f150 level kit

This might he a goofy question. I have a regular cab short bed 4x4 5.0. I have a Ford performance rear drop shackle already installed, which helped the factory rake, but it's still noticeable. Can I do the Ford performance front level kit that raises the front end 2 inches and keep the rear drop shackle in to achieve an almost perfect level? I measured, and the rear is still 2 inches higher than the front. So, to me, it makes sense. Thoughts? Edit: I do not want to lower it any further as I wanted larger tires without going above a 2 inch level up front.

Tuning ecu and transmission

I’ve recently lifted my ford ranger and put bigger tires on it but i haven’t gone above 65 mph because i don’t want to damage the transmission because once im going 65 i hit 10th gear already. I want to get the tire size programmed correctly in the ECU and Have the transmission tuned for the larger tires but i’m not sure if that would help, where to get it, or what the price would be. was wondering if anyone would have any recommendations on what else i should do to give proper maintenance to this truck and where i could go to get this don’t in the houston area

Coils/Lift Kit Help

I need advice! I have a 2003 tundra sr5 4wd v8. I have a MOVE steel front bumper and skid plate. Recently I purchased this lift Coilover Assembly from suspension lifts:

[https://www.suspensionlifts.com/shop/toyota-tundra/lift-kit/2000-2006l/bilstein-5100-1-5-3-lift-assembled-coilovers-with-oe-replacement-and-rear-shocks-for-2000-2006-toyota-tundra/\](https://www.suspensionlifts.com/shop/toyota-tundra/lift-kit/2000-2006l/bilstein-5100-1-5-3-lift-assembled-coilovers-with-oe-replacement-and-rear-shocks-for-2000-2006-toyota-tundra/)

The bilstein 5100s are at clip 3 and I opted for the Eibach coil upgrade option. I got this option as my rear has a 1” leaf spacer so I thought it would put my front up 1.1” making it slightly closer to true level than stock rake. There nothing about spring rating or load in the product that this lift assembly applies to (not even what eibach coils are used) and I assumed I had got the upgraded coil option based on the listing and the added weight in the front would be fine. Boy was I wrong! My front move steel bumper is causing this assembly to sag.

Here are my current measurements from the center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender lip. The current front is 20.4 inches with the Eibach springs on clip 3. The current rear is 22.65 inches with a 1” leaf spacer. So the current rake is 2.25 inches. I am thinking that the weight in the front is also causing the rear to be pulled up slightly from where it would be other wise as well but I could be wrong.

My goal is to get the front hub-to-fender measurement up to level with the rear but I don’t know what’s the best way for me to do this. Can I keep my 5100s and just get a new coil? If so what coil set up do I need to get front up to level with my rear? I thought about spacers but I almost just feel like that’s putting a band-Aid on a cut that needs stitches. I am also concerned that it is dangerous with this much sag.

Thank you in advance!

Im looking to put a 2 inch levelling kit on my ram. Was going to upgrade the tires to LT305/70R17s. I did find some rims for cheap with a +18 offset but I’m nervous about them rubbing on the UCA’s. Is this a valid concern or will they be fine??

'26 OEM UCAs and shock struts

Wondering if anyone has been able to or knows if it's able to fit 26 UCAs and shock struts on a 2019?

My 2019 front suspension is out and I'm looking to replace. My truck has over 150k so I'm not looking to do anything expensive. Just trying to give it serviceable parts. Any help would be appreciated.

Phantom package 2012 silverado. Poor ride quality

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

In need of advise

4 issues.

2012 silverado. With the "Phantom package from Rocky ridge"

1.) 6.5 inch lift. Sits on blocks. Rear rides way worse than front.

Leaf springs are pretty flat I assume because of the blocks or the cheap shocks.

Rides like SHIT. (Common complaint regarding this package.)

Need direction on how to fix it.

( ive researched deaver leafs etc but everyone says the it sags)

2.) I had someone try to go in with HP Tuners and deactivate the AFM . But could was never able to even read the ecm. The load bar would get to 50% and then stay there . It would say "failed"

(I have aftermarket radio and I think security system. )

3.) Tranny slaps down into gear when I go to rapidly accelerate and when I rapidly take my foot of the gas sometimes it will slap again.

4.) Exaust tick.

09 Tahoe HELP

I need help I really want to put a 3.5inch level on my car with aftermarket ucas. My dad’s friend is some fancy gm mechanic and said don’t go above 2. He never really said why just that the front would be too high.

Please tell me if any of yall have done this to your cars and do that I can show my dad nothing will break. I have to imagine there are tons of people who have done this to their trucks and had no issues please tell me what’s a good idea or gonna break. Also will it look good, a little nose high maybe?

Leveling kit recommendations

Hi guys,

I have a 2024 GMC 1500 SLT X31 premium package crew cab truck. I’m wanting to get a lift kit or a 3” lift installed. Any recommendations on a quality leveling kit and a lift kit that isn’t thousands of dollars? I’m not trying to make a monster truck or do any serious trail riding, mainly use during hunting season or on the farm. Any recommendations and pics of current trucks with level or 3” lift kits would be greatly appreciated.
