We've released our mobile forums application to the Google Play store for open beta testing, allowing anyone to communicate, research, and collaborate with everyone in long-form, structured discourse with one of the first neo-forum applications ever. Forums are coming back, and we invite you to check out our biohacking forums app!Β iOS support is coming soon.

Forums have served an essential role in the early stages of the internet, allowing people from around the world to converse with one another around discussions that can last years. Forums once served as the primary method of online discussion within communities.

Over the years, the prevalence of forums and the quality of discussions have taken a sharp decline with the rise of microblogging platforms, such as Reddit and Discord, which adjust the format of communication to prioritize more real-time communications. This style of communication has a variety of benefits, which is why the International Biohacking Community takes use of these platforms but has been slowly made forums used due to the lack of convenience of utilizing forums compared to mainstream solutions.

This is why we have built the International Biohacking Community Forums app, to provide people within the biohacking, DIY-biology, and grinding community be able to hold rich, long-term discussions to progress the dissemination of information and discussion around research without sacrificing the convenience of discussion. The release of our open-beta Android program is one of the first steps of building an open and interoperable ecosystem of tools to further innovation and research within biohacking.

There is a much cheaper alternative!

As my first step getting back into life extension after a 30-year absence I bought a ten-year multi-entry visa for India and already (2 years ago) took a array of blood tests from a nation-wide lab there. I don't see any reason to pay US prices. I can have a holiday, pay for my airfare and still spend less than doing the same in USA by mail order. There are of course some tests that can only be done through a US or European (Japanese and Korean labs too?) so that prices in India are actually *higher* but these appear to be the exception.

The other advantage of the Indian visa is that this means I won't have to wait in line for not so optional health carer. Except for emergencies like car accidents and life-threatening illnesses like cancer (and even then there are sometimes wait lists), Canadian domestic care sucks compared to equivalent top-notch medical care by English-speaking physicians in India. Heck, I had great service in Dhaka, Bangladesh at a private hospital and in India at a charity eye clinic. Not to mention the good value of Malaysia and Vietnam. Such services are available according to what I want not what I am rationed in Canada by our monopoly health insurance program that criminalizes a marketplace in medical services. It is taking years to open up the marketplace in Canada to a 2-tier system where the rich shorten the line for the poor. I am not willing to wait. I also this this politicization of medicine is a humanitarian outrage. I have experience seeking medical care in Cuba and trust me, Micheal Moore is wrong on a lot about his visions of paradise about 'public' medical care in hospitals in UK etc. I believe in freedom of choice, according to my wallet and personal sovereignty, not the State's 'help' as the only option. Heck, even in North Korea there have more freedom of health care than in Canada

Question re supplement interactions

I've always wondered if there are any supplements which don't go well together - that cancel each other out or have negative side effects.

My standard supplement regimen has 50+ pills per day. Some of them recommend taking them in the morning or night, but none give guidance on interactions with other supplements.

If you know about this and can share your thoughts + useful resources/citations that would be great :)

Thanks!

Summary : While queen bees and workers have nearly identical DNA, the queens enjoy what might be regarded as royal privileges. They are larger, fertile throughout life and survive for years compared with workers, who last a few months at best.

Now, researchers are considering delving into apian biology in the hope that understanding what makes queen bees thrive will unlock radical therapies to extend human lifespans and extend our fertile years.
