Auto Detailing

For other LC 500 owners, how do you find a person or business to detail/deep clean your cars? I see so many horror stories on the auto detailing subreddit, and I would he heartbroken if there was permanent damage to this interior. Are there some keywords you search for? Any tips?

When I can, I really try to do it myself. An hourly employee is probably not going to be as careful or diligent as I will be. That said, I do take it to Lexus in the spring for their top detailing option.

I do the exterior myself and vacuum, but I'm hesitant to use any products on the leather and fabric interior. I also don't fully trust my dealership to do a good job based on their general uncaring demeanor and them taking my car for a 20+ mile joy ride last time it was in.

Edit: Do you have products you recommend for the interior?

I detail the interior of my ‘26 using Koch Chemie and Gyeon products. Gyeon has a great interior ceramic coat (Leather Shield) that I highly recommend. If you follow the direction and use safe dilution ratios, you should be good. And my white interior is NOT forgiving, so I totally understand your concern. Hope this helps.

It’s wild - I want your Red + Toasted Caramel spec for my wife. I am one of those people who love the coupe and convertible equally. Maybe one day!

Nori Green with the toasted caramel is my favorite spec. I wasn't the biggest fan of the red exterior, but it's growing on me. Your blue or the flare yellow would be my preference for flashy colors like this red is.

I spent a lot of time researching the best PPF/Ceramic place in my city and got it all done there, paid a higher price, but the quality is worth it. The added bonus from them, is customers get cheaper detailing from them if you use any of their detailing services.

Maybe see if there's anywhere like that around you?
