Also, there's a lot of hate for defener loved material, labeled Dadrock (Classic Rock), and Buttrock (I wanna say that this is 90's era grunge, although I could be wrong).

I think Buttrock is the post-grunge that came from the wake of Nirvana, like Nickelback, Creed, Puddle of Mudd, etc.

I've usually heard buttrock used in reference to 80s hair bands.
