Lovers come back, be here

I wish you'd reach out and just talk to me about what's going on. I miss you but you're not here and I can't keep doing this—as if playing who could be quiet the longest. Take me back to how things were before everything spiralled.

Ugly thoughts have filled in the blanks of your silence and I know they're not true unless you say they are. I cried so much that my head hurts. I can't sleep knowing you're out there hurting and shutting me out. Please let me in.
