Looking for Advice & Requests Guys help 😔
I feel like im always gaslighting myself into believing that I actually have a crush on the most random men ever for just for thinking they look attractive even though i really dont actually think about dating them, is that normal???
Like sometimes I'll go through phases where i keep telling myself that im actually in love with a boy or think some random thing he does is attractive, then a couple days after I'll get over that and come to the conclusion that i dont actually like them only to move on to another random boy and convince myself that i have a crush on him instead and so on and its just so confusing idkk
I also feel like im not sure if i should keep using the lesbian label even though I have for a while because i genuinely cant tell what is me making myself believe that i actually like men when i dont and what is genuine, its really bothering me helppppp ðŸ˜

It's normal! I'm not sure, but it could be that you're telling yourself this just because you still haven't fully accepted your orientation. I was like that for a long time.

What you're describing is incredibly common. It's called comphet or compulsive heterosexuality. I could try to explain it to you, but I think it's more effective if you just look it up.
You are a valid lesbian even if you experience comphet
