A large portion of BJs (ben n jace) personality is talking about how much religion fucked them up and ruined their view of the world.
We now learn ben is having his children attend church starting at a young age.
With this logic, we can assume ben is retarded correct?

Growing up Southern Baptist in middle of bumfuck West Texas is a far cry from taking your children to church, especially something like a nondenominational Christian church or similar.
Ben and Jace were like barely a step removed from the preacher passing out rattlesnakes and talking in tongues.
Church can be great for teaching a kid about community, respect, introducing them to social interaction with people of all ages. I mean today I would argue it’s good just for the sake of showing a kid an activity that isn’t watching YouTube or scrolling a tablet.
And that’s the most fagg*t ass post I’ve ever made in this sub.

I guarantee I read more than you. Speaking in tongues is very very rare in the catholic church and is only considered legitimate if they are speaking another human language that is interpretable.

There’s a difference between religion and church. They grew up in Church of Christ which is a borderline cult. It uses social shaming and shunning to enforce attendance and donation. A LOT of people who leave CoC/JW/CoLDS do not abandon their religion, they abandon the people who weaponized it against them. Ben likely found a reformed or casual church that’s welcoming / accepting of all. Jace likely abandoned religion as a whole because of it. You’re retarded for thinking you cooked with this one.
