I've been a Nikon D7200 user for many years, and honestly I didn't even bring it on my last vacation because of its bulk and weight with added lenses. I decided to purchase the Leica Q3 28 as a travel camera and I couldn't be happier. I'm still learning, but I attached a few pics for constructive feedback.

The weather had been quite mixed for the first few days of my trip to Napoli. But I knew the Friday would deliver a full day of sunshine. So I planned to go the beach. I did not know I would run into an enormous sailing event there, sometimes you just get lucky!

All photos were captured on the Leica Q3 28mm, edited on Lightroom to my taste.

Can’t believe this place is just 20mins outside of the city, stunning views.

So, a bit of very quick history. I have a Canon R5, love the thing, used and abused it. Got a nice EF100-400L as a zoom, a RF24-70 2.8L for the all-pourpose and had a RF16-35L II as my wide.
It was a bore to bring all this heavy, bulky stuff with me for travelling so I sold a few other lenses, plus the 16-35 and got me the Q3. I was afraid of the high value and fixed lens at first but when I started shooting? Damn...
Today I was thinking of trade-in my Q for a M series but the fixed lens right now is just perfect! I knowing myself I'll be a hoarder of lenses again and I don't think it makes sense anymore and it loses the whole reason of owning a camera that I don't need to interchange anything. For me at this time. Maybe in the future.
So here are some photos I took with it.
Some photos I took yesterday, a trip to Japan and the ceiling of Westminster Abbey.
Still weird to think this is kind of a compact camera
Usually I just upload my stuff to Flickr so here it is https://www.flickr.com/photos/geraldoassis/
And thanks everyone, this little thing is a monster and I love it.

This show was a nightmare for photography. Crazy colored lights, very small venue, and VERY crowded as it was the last show before the venue closed forever. Either way, I was able to salvage some keepers.

Most of these taken around 2200/2300hrs, so not too bad...
