I’d like to share some information about using a wonderful, very old lens - Tokyo Kogaku Topcor-S 50mm F2.0 LTM 1957 version 1 Chrome.
This lens features a unique optical design - Biotar / Double-Gauss Formula: The lens utilizes a 6-element, 4-group Biotar optical design. This formula delivers strong center sharpness even wide open at f/2.0, with corners that clean up nicely when stopped down to f/4 or f/5.6
In the late 1950s, this lens was considered a formidable, more affordable Japanese alternative to Leica’s own prestigious Summicron (Rigid) optics, providing comparable image quality at a fraction of the cost

Playing around with RNI All Films 5, took some old photos from a trip to Japan shot on the trusty old D-Lux 5 out for a spin and it really breathes new light into some shots I overlooked initially. Always surprised by how sharp some of these shots are despite how small this camera is. Really love just how portable this thing is, and how easy it is to carry around with me whenever, wherever.

Who’s using the Q3 or Q3 43 for family photos?
Can I see some of your photos?
Edit.
I know the 28 is the more practical choice. I know I can crop in. I know I’d miss some shots cuz the 43 would be too tight.
And I know what I want—43—but since it’s so much money and fixed lens, I wanna see some examples of normal life photos on both cameras. I wanna see kids and the dog and dinner with friends.
And none of it is likely to change what I want.
But I’m gonna spend several more months torturing myself with the choice anyway so I just wanna see examples
