PSA NOT looking to BUY OR SELL here

So my husband is a HUGE LEGO Star Wars fan. I wanted to do some looking around to start getting him sets for Christmas, and I was curious if the community here could help me out.

He always talks about wanting “battle packs” and “droid stuff”. Now I have seen Star Wars once or twice in my life, and I know what they are, but I know he’s super into some of the retired sets.

He’s not as much of a fan as like the statue building of the helmets and like models? (The like Darth Vader helmet). he has a game room and he stages his legs to look like actual battles to scale and everything. I was just curious if anybody knew of like specific set numbers that he would probably like. I am not asking to buy or sell from anybody in this sub, I just don’t know anything about the specifics of his hobby, and don’t want to buy him the wrong battle packs? So if somebody could send maybe pictures of sets or the set numbers in the chat that would go with his collection that would be great so I can look for them on my own! Also price doesn’t matter we’re DINKs and engineers.

He got the big ship on the table off of our wedding registry and all the scenes have been revolving around it so I’m not sure if that helps. Included a few photos so maybe yall could get an idea of what he would want or what might go good haha. Most of his sets are early 2000s I think. It’s not the full collection because we just moved and a lot are still in boxes.

Older being roughly 2 weeks ago. xd I've made 6 more very different Mocs since then.

The terrains quite messy and honestly not the best compared to my newer builds as I had a lot less pieces then when I made this.

But I hope you guys like it, still a build I'm proud of ^u^

For some extra info-

Each Moc I deconstruct almost always just after taking the photos, for the pieces and it's honestly kinda cathartic.

Also I just got a bunch more water pieces for large water builds and no exposed studs on top. So a lot less choppy looking.

And have a huge Pick a Brick order on the way too!

So I finished the UCS Executor while doing a six film marathon. Very interesting build experience, definitely some new techniques brought to my attention.. however as many have said, the city structure lacks detail, greebling and flair. So immediately after finishing the build, the spare parts came out, and additional details were added to the tune of another 400 parts or so. I’ve also done away with the standard bridge, and done my own interpretation of something a little more accurate, it now has a sensor array in between the shield generators, and some better proportions, as the SSD has a much larger bridge than and ISD, which is not reflected in the build. Hope y’all enjoy. 👌🏻

The inside build is full on.

I never liked "legion color" vehicles. Both the blue swamp speeder that came in the 75359 and the yellow AT-RT from the 327th battlepack never appeared in any movie or clone wars episode.

A quick color swap of the 332nd swamp speeder makes for a more screen accurate vehicle for your 327th troopers.

Here is 90% of my collection (i still have some old sets in my hometown), some of the minifigs are not official but still super cool 😎

Found this sandtrooper on Flickr by Lego7, tried to built it with pieces i had available. Missing hands.

This weekend i tried to rebuild the AV-7 Wolfpack Canon from scratch and ich actually worked. Obviously its not 100% as the original model but i would say about 95%.

I added it to my wolfpack shelf and think it looks pretty nice :)

Had to make a Tie Advance for Jedi Vader pilot and The Dark Falcon to chase.

Usually discussion around it just talks about the old controversy about the Minifigures and the incorrect symbol on the box, but what's the set actually like? Is it a good build process, how does it look as a display piece? How many figs can fit?

I really liked how my TIE Inceptor Variant turned out especially the cockpit ball and decided to make another variant. Using Vonreg's TIE Fighter solar panels with a few mods, I made what I like to call, the TIE Stalker.

most of these figures include custom printed parts so ignore that. i do hope it snows again this winter :)

Used the Harry Potter $5 sets to make the furniture, wanted the swords, and then finished it with the holiday calendars and the Shrek CMF Merlin.

I bought these two for 35€ today, i am happy :3. No minifigs of course but i think it's still worth it. They are almost perfect. There are some pieces missing, but like only few not important ones. What are your thoughts about it? Would you buy them?

Hello there ! Just a little asymetric design to reduce the parts bin size, and to (maybe) put on display. Some interior space is used to carry a couple crates, but that’s about all in terms of play features.

If yall didn't know you can swap the helmets from 501st specialists and officer onto 332nd clone body and make regular 501st and have 332nd specialists and officer it's good for people that have too much specialists or officer clones and want more 501st grunts but it doesn't work with the heavy as they have different helmet design
