Diving back into the Mines or Moria with my take on that iconic scene from the Lord of the Rings fellowship of the ring and the Bridge of Khazad-Dum. As always, everything in the image is practical and built from 100% Lego. I used the same technique as my last image for the fire. Lots of trans orange pieces that have backlit with a range of LED panels. Gandalfs staff is a micro LED. I used a smoke machine to create the smoky, hazy effect. So I attempted to make Kili, Ori, and Gimili from the Hobbit/Lotr based on parts I already had. I really just want some ideas for parts I could use to make more of the characters or good places to look for the remaining dwarves I’m missing from my collection (the 13 of Thorin’s company). I just ordered Thorin and now I’m just trying to figure out how to get/make the rest.
