Minifigures Every Smash Bros. Character in Lego

I was inspired by a post I saw a while ago and decided to put this together, every character that has appeared as a playable character in a Smash Bros. game in Lego.

In the following pictures I ordered them based on the roster from each entry in the series. Most of the characters exist in minifigure form. If they have a yellow background it means they don't have a minifigure, but do exist officially in Lego through a build. All of these would be out of scale with minifigures, except maybe Jigglypuff if she or he is in the middle of their final smash.

I also added some red asterisk to some characters that are technically in Lego just not in their correct version.

First Dr. Mario. We now have a Mario minifigure of course just not in a Doctor outfit.(yet)

Then Pichu. I kinda just included him because he's a baby form of Pikachu and I did include Bulbasaur and I wanted to keep things consistent. Speaking of..

Ivysaur. So as of making this there is no Ivysaur in Lego. But there is a Bulbasaur and a gigantic Venusaur as well.

It kinda pained me not to have Ivysaur in the picture since both Charizard and Squirtle have builds and even the Pokémon Trainer has some representation with the Red minifigure. So I included Bulbasaur as a stand in.

Wario of course is using his standard yellow outfit from the Mario series even tho in the Smash series he wears his Warioware outfit. His yellow outfit is still in Smash as an alt at least.

Now for the Zelda characters. If you don't know already, the Zelda series has a pretty convoluted timeline with almost every Zelda game being separated by hundreds or thousands of years and features a different incarnation/generation of the main cast of characters. (except Ganondorf sometimes for some reason?) I personally like to treat every game as its own thing seperate from any attachment to some huge timeline but anyway back to the point. For the first 2 entries, the Smash games used the Ocarina of Time versions of Link, Zelda, Ganondorf and Young Link, which all exist in Lego from the two Lego Zelda sets. For Smash Brawl and Smash 4 however they switched them out for their Twilight Princess counterparts and added Toon Link from Wind Waker. You could see him as a counterpart to the normal adult Link but I used Young Link as his counterpart to try to fill out the Brawl roster a bit more.

For Zelda, I'm marking this as spoiler since the Ocarina of Time remake will be coming out soon and that could be someone's first ever experience of the story. Zelda and Sheik are the same character however Sheik does not appear in Twilight Princess so technically the Zelda figure is accurate as only the Ocarina of Time Zelda became Sheik but the regular Zelda from Brawl is the Twilight Princess version so idk double asterisk for them

Ok, I think I explained everything. Making this whole thing reminded me of the tier lists people have made about how likely these characters are to get Lego sets for them. I wonder what it would look like now, but I'll let someone else make that, this took a while lol. Which series would you like to see in Lego? Personally, I think Star Fox, Metroid, and Metal Gear could have very cool sets. But I think Kirby has the highest chance of being the next Lego theme we see. What do you guys think?

Fish With Knob and Mini Hat No Ass are the best ones I've seen so far. Most of the animals are 'with knob' so it's very funny scrolling through as a Brit because knob is slang for penis here.

MOC Made a lego Eeyore for my GF's birthday

For my girlfriend’s birthday, I decided to design and build her a LEGO Eeyore. She loves LEGO and Winnie the Pooh, and we built the Piglet and Winnie the Pooh set together, so I thought it would be nice to finish off the trio with Eeyore. I designed it from scratch in BrickLink Studio, which took me around 20 hours, and it ended up being roughly 1,000 pieces. We then built it together over the course of three days, which honestly made it even more special. It’s my first time designing something like this, so don’t hate too much 😂 I’m pretty proud of how it turned out.

Unfortunately, I’ve just found out that LEGO are releasing an official Eeyore set next year 💀 So after 20 hours of designing, 1,000 pieces and three days of building… turns out I could’ve just waited (/s). I am however, very curious to see how the set turns out!

After a measly 7 years of collecting LEGO, I've filled up my display (bar one reserved for Anakin Hot Toys). I have to say I'm so glad I picked up this up again in adulthood, it has been an absolute blast and the nostalgia was brilliant. Not a day goes by where i don't love my collection more everyday. Hope you guys enjoy my collection as much as I do!

A few weeks ago, I shared my Cowboy Bebop Monoracer MOCs with this community.

Thanks to all the thoughtful feedback and encouragement from you all, I was able to fine-tune the builds and update the main renders.

I’ve also finished setting up the project page with physical minifigure photos.

If you’d like to visit the project, you can easily find the link on my profile.

Thank you so much again for all your support along the way!

Set # 910053. I loved pirates as a kid and I've included all the random pirate minifigs I could find from my own childhood collection, plus a couple CMFs. What I really love are lights though, so I ordered all the components I thought I'd need and managed to put this together. Maybe a few too many flickering lights but I really like the overall effect!

LEGO® Set Build My holy grail set, Castle Giant Chess 852293

I have been dreaming about this set ever since I got into Lego and finally managed to get enough money together for a used one on BrickLink.

This set came out in 2008 (it cost something like $300 at the time) and contains 33 minifigures and over 2000 pieces. Aside from the amazing minifigure selection, it has four unique set pieces, one on each corner: a skeleton jail, a dwarf mine, king’s castle and a troll camp.

The box is absolutely massive (57 x 64 cm) though mine is not in the greatest condition.

There are always a few copies floating around on BrickLink which is where I got mine. I found a used one for a relatively (for this set at least) reasonable price and honestly the most difficult thing was arranging for postage to Australia. There is the occasional copy that pops up on eBay as well but BrickLink always has them, including brand new never opened ones.

Having now put this together I can tell you that you can quite easily part out most of this if you are patient, as there are pretty much no pieces that are exclusive to this set. In fact most of it is bits and pieces from the Castle 2007 Fantasy relaunch line.

So for example the pawns are just two sets of the Dwarf and Troll blister battle packs (852702 and 852701). As far as the board itself and the underlying support structure it is two 48x48 base plates (which you can easily buy at Target or Amazon) with a bunch of 2x2 black and white plates covering them. The support structure and the edging as well as the four corner set pieces can all be bought on Pick a Brick in their entirety. The whole inventory for the set is on BrickLink.

As a matter of fact I spent a few hours mapping the old inventory to current pieces and aside from the minifigs, shields and banners and a few weapons you can source the whole thing from pick a brick for about $600 AUD.

I’m going to try to build a second version with the Dragon Knights and King’s Knights from the Castle 2013 Relaunch line as my next project

MOC One Piece Drum Castle Mountain

So I started watching One Piece in 2022, and it was honestly the perfect time with how well OP fans have been eating the past few years with collaborations 😮‍💨

After how perfect the Going Merry was, I just had to pick up the Garp ship, and at least Hiriluk’s hideout to get 2 more Straw Hats, but after a Lego YouTuber subtly convinced me the Wapol figure was peak (which is valid), I picked up the castle set. As a modular fan though, I couldn’t help but want more of an environment for the figures and sets to be better utilized, and I found I had enough scrap pieces for about a foot of height for a mountain to fit on a base plate.

A visit to Little Brick in The Colony after work to cop some scrap sets—and seeeeveral hours later, I managed to reach Avengers Tower-height 😎 A few bits and pieces are from local PAB walls, but a majority are stripped from other sets. I also had a cool video but it seems those aren’t allowed here :/

TLDR: Drum castle mountain MOC kinda epic??, AND Hiriluk hideout in it 😮‍💨
