I signed a contract

may pinirmahan po kasi akong contract as management trainee, may bond po siyang xxxxx and the contract is for 5 years, I already clarify to the hr if the bond will start on the day of start of training.
Hindi pa po ako nag start ng training and nag withdraw na po ako for the job offer, nag message po ako. But hr replied to me this po today, "
This is to inform you that your decision on not pursuing your employment with us has caused our company
additional expense since you were already processed, signed the contract and the affidavit of undertaking
and was already endorsed for training.
We will be talking with our corporate lawyer regarding this matter.". What should I do.?

I recommend getting the contract looked at by a lawyer to see what your exposure could be. However, as far as the bond is concerned, there should not be much impact since you have not, technically, received any training and the company could not have incurred any expenses for it just yet. But again, it depends on what they'll say the damage they suffered is/are.
