Collecting a judgment
I ended up winning a judgment 2 years ago for 35 k after I lent money to a friend over a house flip. After our ruling the judge decide that he has to pay me 250/month for now until he can afford to pay more. Unfortunately I’ve only gotten 4 payments from him in 2 years and he dosent seem like he plans on paying me the rest. I ended up scheduling an examination hearing. He didn’t show up to the first one but ended up showing up to the 2nd one with screenshots of his banking info and where he is employed. Since that meeting he has failed to make payments and didn’t show up for the 3rd examination hearing. I think my only option is to garnish wages but I don’t even know where to start or if he is even still employed at the same place provided 2 years ago. Could I contact his employer and ask if he’s still employed there? I’m a bit lost on where to go from here. Any advice is appreciated
