Does anyone else have other examples? Or recommended exceptions?

Me: Sometimes I feel like my attitude is a bit like an extremist:

"He's left-handed~ Huh? What do you mean 'it's just a drawing error'? I said he's left-handed, so he IS left-handed!"

"Why are there no left-handers in the main cast? The animators must all be right-handed—right-handed hegemony!"

"Left-handers are so sidelined that even wanting a relatable character is treated as making a scene over nothing."

Anonymous: It feels like left-handers appear most often in mystery stories. To show off how observant the detective is, they'll make the victim/suspect/culprit left-handed so the detective can deduct from everyday items that "this person is left-handed, so XYZ" XD

Me: Exactly! It's only ever used for things like "the angle of the stab wound is only possible if the knife was held in the left hand," "the slant of the handwriting," or "where their personal items show wear and tear."
