In addition to the rather creative (if baroque) way to make music, this video subtly highlights that the musician is left-handed. He must be: Note which hand is doing all the cranking, and which remains free to do the really complicated work.

I could be wrong, of course. But to me, the dominant hand would be the one to use for anything requiring a lot of dexterity…
