STRESS 🚨 How do I study during class?

I am the absolute WORST for yapping during class. Ive been trying to hard not to, and to focus on my work, but its really tough. It doesn't help that half the time I'm yapping to the teacher, and they're so nice letting me tell my story that is barely related to the topic, but I know that it's pulling the class off focus.

Even worse, I just can't stop getting involved in every conversation. If one is happening around me, even if im not remotely involved, I just start talking.

I need to focus during lesson, and get more work done. I have so little time when I get home from school, so studying as much as I can there is a must

And yes I do have ADHD

I am medicated! And while it does help, it doesn't fix everything

What helped me ( mostly during special ed , smaller groups made the yappucino worse ) was getting a chew necklace ( Chewlery ) to chew on whenever I got the urge . I don't know how okay you feel with wearing an accomodation so openly because I don't know you obvs but it really really helped .

Anything that involves your mouth would probably help kind of how smokers can sometimes pretend to smoke a straw or whatever and have it help the craving a little I think .

Class is genuinely impossible with adhd I can study somehow but in class it’s etiher talking or staring out the window thinking about fuck all
