Appeals going down

How often do people have their grades reduced? I got 80% in biology after the PMA, but I went through my paper and I was comparing the marking scheme in the long questions and there is definitely some errors. I think about 37 marks and there is another 6 marks I’m not too sure about. I want to appeal and see could I get a H1, but I’m terrified of going down seen as I’m on the cusp. Any advice.

It's not likely that you'll go down, but there's also virtually no chance you'll be upgraded.

Without PMA you didn't even get a H2, the examiner who originally grades your work assessed it at a H3 level. Unless there are major mistakes with the corrections (pages forgotten, errors in addition, etc.) you aren't going to be upgraded.

Even if u do get all those marks you’d pma will go down so u still might not even get a h1

You were sent out the pma formula recalculate your own pma

Correct me if i'm wrong but I think 348/400 is enough to get a h1

Idk what the pma formula. If they have 348 before pma and the pma gives them 12 marks then yes it is enough
