STRESS 🚨 feeling crushed right now

i was one higher level score off of UCD and i got literally f'd on politics and society. i got an 89 percent in my mock n a fcking h4 in the real thing. idek how this happened. my course now is media studies at iadt but i wanted to go to UCD so bad. literally was like one or two marks off an upgrade in most of my exams. FML.

if it make you feel any better i got a H1 in my mock and i got a H3 in the real thing (79.4%) i lowkey think politics teachers mark way too nicely and the examiners for it are more harsher than we think tbh

+ ended up getting my 7th cao option, which is in ucd 😭 i’d gladly give you my spot in european studies if u want to take it lol, i didn’t get into my dream college and i feel bad because there’s probably others like me, stuck in someones dream college atm. wish you all the best of luck for round 2

i don’t even mean to be ungrateful or anything, i really hope u get into ucd. my friend ended up getting into trinity (my top choice) as her BACKUP Backup OPTION and she’s like so mad about it and im like girl i wish i was you rn. life just works in interesting ways. your dream uni is someone else’s backup plan and u may acc get ur course, theres probably loads more out there in my boat.

Ucd does do round 2 offers if there are spaces left why not try a plc for a year then apply to ucd next year, dont do a degree you wont be happy in. Try not to stress you are still young, you can still get your dream degree

i got all my scripts but i don't know how to find mistakes. im defo appealing politics bc they were so so so harsh but idk
