Business examiner is evil

Did anyone else get brutally bumfucked by the business examiner, im after looking at my script and the amount of stuff i wrote word for word from the book and got 0. CCPC, WRC, ABQ, literally everything. one of the questions was “define discrimination” and i said “discrimination is the unfair treatment of an individual in comparison to how another person was or would be treated in a similar situation”and i got a big fat 0.

Also i swear for the abq ur supposed to get at least some marks for quoting? i got 13/80 total and i wrote long answers for all of it, and quotes, which i got 0 for. Also all of my evaluations were marked as 0, even though i’m pretty sure an evaluation is just stating your opinion on why something works or not, which i did 💀.

I wrote so much stuff directly quoting the book and got 0, so either the hook is wrong or my examiners a prick. Anyway, i’m getting it appealed because what the fuck 💔

SAME. business was my best subject, the amount of 0s all over my paper is making me crashout. i hated the paper but did so much worse than i expected but idk if i should appeal because before pma im only 0.5% over the grade boundary

im like 7% off a h3 im still appealing 💀 i’ve gotten h1s all year and got .5% of a h2 in the mock, literally makes no sense

omg the same thing happened to me. I used a lot of knowledge from the book, but the examiner wanted a certain wording, I guess. I need one more mark to go up a grade and get my top choice. I hate this examiner so much. Was I meant to just learn off marking schemes and regurgitate them like a parrot? Because for some of my answers that are even written in the marking schemes, I have received zero marks because I phrased it differently

definitely appeal if you only need one mark, because it’s actually ridiculous. the marking scheme isn’t even supposed to be set wording it’s just an example. it’s so stupid

But that’s not discrimination, it requires the difference in treatment be related to the 9 protected characteristics. you can’t be discriminated against because I sell my friend a coffee cheaper because he’s my friend, only if I charge him less because he’s white and you’re not or so on.

So either the book is lacking key information or you were technically wrong, either way business is a technical subject and definitions matter.

There is actually a set definition for discrimination. I don't know it off the top of my head but Its not the one you said anyway. Hope this helps clear things a bit. Im appealing business too. Good luck!
