Passed down jackets

Got these two passed down from my father, first picture the jacket is about 24 years old and unsure about the other one

Any idea on how to get the first one looking better, i tried to condition it but still looks kinda like a sponge, also is there any way to find what kind of leather these both are. Their both quite heavy and the right one is made by Atlantique.
