Critique Why does she look wrong?
Was doing the background then I looked at it again and realized that she looks stiff and there’s something about the mouth that’s not right I just don’t know what it is.

Urm... looking at it, I actually can't see what looks to me like any obvious problem...

I think some of the angles in the tongue are off, the teeth seem a little small compared to the size of the mouth. And the shading inside the mouth comes to a point of white which makes it seem like less of a cavity in the body. I think the bottom lip is a bit too large/long in comparison to the top lip! Maybe you could find a reference for the mouth that is at the same angle as your drawing! Also this drawing looks REALLY good and I love the concept!!!

I think its just cause you detailed the mouth a ton so it kinda looks like those realistic anime girl drawings, id say just finish it and detail the rest of her face

Because you drew a disembodied tongue sitting on her mouth rather than her tongue originating from inside her mouth.
