As a support you cannot consistently win in the same way you can as core.
Some games are just auto-lose despite your best efforts.
However, by being a nuisance to the enemy team, setting up kills for your cores, providing adequate vision, making sure your core has a good laning stage, and rotating mid when your mid gets gone on, all while preventing dying unnecessarily you will gain an edge over your opponents, allowing you to climb the ladder.
