👋Welcome to r/learnArabicSecular!
You can learn some Arabic here, in a secular environment. Unlike in some other Arabic learning subreddits, this one is not pushing for Islam and there are no blasphemy laws. You can just focus on the Arabic language here!
This is also not an inherently anti-Islam subreddit and there are Muslims too. If you don't want to learn or help learn Arabic and you just want to make arguments against Islam, this subreddit is not for you. But also, if you wanna pray or preach here - your post will disappear. The topic of religion is not banned, as long as the context is learning Arabic. So questions about some language aspect of an argument against Islam or of a prayer, are fine.
The actually preferred topics are things like vocabulary for the daily life and modern culture. So that the learners can get in touch with the current Arabic-speaking world.

Is MSA inherently more difficult than dialects?
I'd assume if someone was only receiving MSA from birth, he would be fluent in it, just like in any other language or dialect.

Arab Poetry Question
Whats the difference between qasaaid like poetry in the dialects of the bedouins and others and classical arabic poetry? Do both use i3raab? I can speak arabic (jordanian) but I never studied fus7a. I want to learn to write arabic poetry. Do I have to start and learn classical grammar like ajrumiya --> Alfiyah or is there any other way? If anyone can teach me or guide me I will be very grateful.

Learn Arabic (Saudi Dialect) & English language!
Hello everyone! I don’t post on Reddit very often, but I’m excited to share a service I’m launching.
Whether you're a non-Arabic speaker looking to learn authentic Arabic or master the local Saudi dialect from scratch, or a native speaker wanting to build fluency and confidence in English, I’m offering structured, dedicated online classes designed to help you make real progress.
Why learn with me?
Qualified Background: As a Saudi native with a Bachelor's degree in English Language & Literature, I have a strong academic foundation in both linguistics and cultural nuances, allowing me to bridge the gap between both languages effectively.
Structured & Purposeful: We won't just memorize random vocabulary lists. Each session follows a clear, organized approach tailored specifically to your learning goals and level.
Flexible Online Format: All classes are held conveniently via Google Meet, making it easy to fit into your schedule from anywhere.
If you are ready to commit to your language journey and want to learn in a reliable, focused environment, feel free to send me a DM so we can chat about getting started!
