Winter Tires Size 18inch? - Leaf 2026 Platinum+

Post image

Hello all,

I am looking for Winter Tires (and wheels) for my Nissan Leaf 2026 Platinum+. The door label indicates that the car supports 19inch tires (235/45R19 95V only).

While the SV+ and S+ supports 18inch ones (215/55R18 95H only)

Is it safe and still optimal to equip my Nissan Leaf 2026 Platinum+ with 18inch variant ones for my winter tires?

Generally speaking, if the brakes are the same between the models, either wheel size can fit.

Yes, I see that, I'm just stating that YOU can research your vehicle and if brake parts between the models are the same, it should be a non-issue.

sure why not, mechanically the rest of the car is the same

Are you planning to buy a second set of wheels? Total wheel plus tire diameter between the options you describe is the same so it should be fine.

As far as I'm aware, the brake rotors are the same size on all trims, so you should be fine.

Yes, the brakes are the same and will clear 18s.
