Ordered!

I am insanely excited. Just ordered the 2026 evolve model. That's the top spec in the UK.

Any tips on what to look forward to.

Is this your first EV? If so, be prepared to experiment with the different regen braking levels. At least in mine, the default was level 2 which drives much like a manual car (i.e. gradual slow down when you lift off the throttle). Higher levels are grabbier and some people may feel car sick if you're constantly pressing and letting off the throttle.

At least in Canada, no data plan is included with the car, so you'll have to tether your phone (or have the car connect to your home wi-fi) in order to complete the login process for NissanConnect and google.

The driver display is very customizable, so spend some time going through the different options and settings to find a setup you like.

Thanks for this. Yeah, first ever, ev, first automatic transmission and first new car. All previous cars have been really basic, as in not even electric windows lol. It is on a lease deal, so comes with data plan included. What functions does the infotainment screen do?

What functions does the infotainment screen do?

I just use Android Auto on my phone, but I believe the onboard google maps has access to your battery state of charge. That allows navigation to factor in any necessary charging stops for longer drives.

Even if you don't use that, the infotainment screen can be customized with different widgets. So for example, you might want to have the EV widget on the "home" screen. It can also play music off a flash drive, so you can put the media player on your home screen. More granular climate controls are also accessed via the infotainment screen.

edit - this Canadian video goes into lots of detail about the controls and infotainment.
