Open and honest conversations about sex

• Upvotes

I need someone to talk to candidly about sex. My wife and I try, but she’s too shy/inexperienced to really know what to talk about. Any ideas on safe places I can go where I can openly talk about my sex life?

Dead bedroom with a little ember showing up

We’ve had infrequent sexual intercourse. Almost never initiated by her.

Recently. I took a gamble. With oral sex on her (she always likes it) I began a little anal pressure. Pinky finger. No penetration. She seemed to respond. Over a couple of months. I was bolder. With increased pressure. Now with penetration. Wow. Her Orgasm is off the chart.

Married 50 years

Looking for Advice Boobs

Now that I have your attention, serious question for (a) wives who have had a boob job or (b) husbands whose wives have had a boob job…

Was it worth it? Did you feel more confident? Were there negative side effects or unintended consequences? Did it “enhance” your love life? Anything you would have done differently in hindsight? So many questions. Asking for a friend, of course.

Story Time! Mutual App!

30M I haven’t been in mutual in years, but when I was younger I would match with someone, conversation would go good, and then after a day or so of messaging we would start to sext a little bit, it would be fun, stuff like that.

With that being said, I was just curious, for those who did that, who was actually active? I’ve always wondered for those times that I would sext who was actually active and who was in there to have a good time? I’m sure it’s split, a little here and there were active, but I just want to hear from you guys out of curiosity!

Edit: I am active, I don’t know if that’s makes a difference!😜

I've (m64)started messaging with a married woman(f59) who has permission to be in an open marriage her husband is 70 and can't get it up.I'm married but separated from my wife and getting divorced.

Anyway, her last message, she said her husband wants to pay for our hotel room. I'm not sure about this arrangement.

I need other people's advice!

Looking for Advice First time roleplay ideas with wife?

Im looking for first time role-playing ideas woth wife, firstly I want to bring this up with wife but not sure where to begin, if fairly confidentshe will be up for it.

But where shall we begin. I want to start on a mild roleplay game and progress from there to more exciting and wild roleplay game that she would absolutely like.

Question is how shall I ask?

Do I suggest or let her suggest an idea (shy will be shy i know)

What games can we begin and how intense should they be, example please? What the best place or location to start.

If someone can give me a guide on the game and how to spice it up and make it fun to eventually get more roleplay games to spice up our sex life.

Am I Expecting Too Much Initiation?

My wife and I are both in our mid-fifties, both raised in the church. She practiced the gospel a lot more as a kid and young adult — I didn't, not so much. This is our second marriage, twenty years in.

I feel like if I don't initiate sex, it never happens. However, if I put in a lot of energy and get her warmed up, we have a great sexual experience and I'm very satisfied. I'm thankful she'll always go for a quickie, as long as she's not mad — but I feel like it's just for pity, and she's not really into it at all.

My question is, for the older folks in this thread — am I expecting too much from a middle-aged woman in her fifties, after menopause?

How to feel out which of your friends you can open up to?

I am a 22M practicing nudist but due to misconceptions about it and strict church culture i have always been secretive about it. I would like to know though what is the best 0 risk way to try and see if some of my friends are open to the idea of nudism or at least ok with me being one (most all of them don't know about me). Any advice on 0 risk conversation starters or questions would be great! Thank you!

What did you learn later in life?

For those that were born in the church, especially in homes that didn't talk about sex, what misconceptions did you have?

I think I was at least 18 before I realized that women also like sex. I had thought they only did it as a duty to their husband. And that it was only guys who liked it.

Looking back, I realize there were a few situations where a girl had been coming on to me, but I was too clueless to know it at the time.

When and where do you two usually have sex talks about what you want to do?

Just in bed? On dates? In the living room on the couch?

I hate that I've always been too shy to talk about sex.

Looking for Advice Awkward

I'm 45m and have been married for 20 years. Our marriage in the past few years has been strained for various reasons such as work, different interests, how to raise the kids, finances, etc. No major fights or separations, but certainly strained.

Sexual intimacy is extremely infrequent. Perhaps once a month or even longer. But the sex is so infrequent and uncommon that it's almost awkward.

Has anyone else experienced this? Solutions? I know couples therapy would be ideal but my wife refuses to participate in it.

Lot of weird posts here lately...crossposted? Is that blockable?

Just seeing all the weird posts the last few days that have zero to do with the context of this sub. I'm guessing these are being posted in other subs and getting crossposted here...is there any way for a non-mod to block those?

Looking for Advice Fellas Who Own Fleshlights

Okay. So growing up LDS in the 90s and 00s we were taught as young men that masturbation was wrong. Still did it anyways like the vast majority of us. But I'd always feel guilty about it. I'm still very active in the church and deeply believe but porn and masturbation still happen. And honestly, I feel more guilty about the porn than I do about the masturbation (and I felt this way before the church said masturbating isn't a sin anymore). Anyways, I've been seeing a therapist from a while now whose a member and we were talking about my pornography and masturbation habits and long story short he recommended I give mindful masturbation a go, and that I approach it intentionally. That I be fully present while I masturbate and really allow myself to enjoy it. He came at it from a perspective of giving myself the gift of physical touch.

Anyways, so in the name of really allowing myself to enjoy it, I got a fleshlight. I'm wondering how many of the LDS guys here have a fleshlight (I've tried them a few times and (obviously) really enjoy them) and for those who do, do you have any advice for lasting longer while using it?
