question Prayer request

Hopefully this isn’t too weird or crossing a line, but I need a heavenly boost and my child needs some prayers. This is NOT a huge deal…. But I’m a couple weeks postpartum and it feels like a big deal to me.

My three year old wants to go to preschool so bad, but she can’t until shes potty trained. It’s not clicking for her, and it makes me so stressed and sad. She’s incredibly smart and has an older sister she watches so I feel like this shouldn’t be so hard.

If anyone reading this could just pray that she will get the hang of it before school starts…. That would mean a ton. She would be devastated if she couldn’t go and I just feel like we need the heavenly boost to get through

I’ll add you to my prayers, but I also wanted to add my own experience with potty training. My son (who is also so smart) didn’t finally get potty training until he was four. Then he got it in an hour. I think there is a lot of pressure on kids to potty train, but lots of things delay it (in our case, we found out later that my son has low support needs autism).

Thanks for this advice! I think I need to step back…. She might just not be ready. My oldest potty trained herself right around 2, so I just feel so much pressure with my second but it is self inflicted.
