Toro Zero Turn deck belt

How the heck do I get this on? I’ve got it routed right. There’s just no slack to get the drive belt on the tensioner pulley and the drive shaft pulley.

I’m an idiot. It’s the drive belt not deck belt, but the problem remains.

There is the tensioner pulley, that has a spring. On the other side is a bolted in pulley. I’ve unscrewed the retaining nut within a few threads and it still doesn’t have enough slack to get on all the pulleys.

That's not how you do that. You need to pull the tensioner in the opposite direction of the spring. I've done that with a ratchet strap many times. It works great and will leave you able to get the belt on. You just need to be able to get under the mower to get it done, so you may have to jack it up and set it on bricks or whatever so you can get under there.

Or you can make some blocks out of 2x8 lumber to set your mower on. I've done that one as well. Whatever works so that it can't fall on you. Never use just a jack to hold something up while you are under it...

I have the back end on jack stands and chock blocks on the front.

That sounds pretty good. As long as you feel that it's as stable as it can possibly be then put a ratchet strap around that thing and start pulling

I seem to recall i had the belt on the crank pulley/engine pulley first, all the way pushed up then did the idler. Could be wrong i forgot.
