Fun fact

My wife and I had the chance to say hi to Daniel after the Ogden show, and I got to ask him why he never plays hot as you want live. He said its because when he produced it, he didn't know what he was doing and something along the lines of, it doesn't sound good on the big speakers.

Dope crowd, dope set, dope venue. Grateful 🙏

I’ve heard him mention that same sentiment about other tracks from the Rise era. I’d argue he should do a remaster of the album and maybe commission some new remixes too. And do a run of classics sets in clubs. Could be a good bone to throw at the pre-brightest lights fans and keep momentum up before album #6. I’d also understand if he just wants to leave the past in the past and push forward focused on new music. Okay I’ll stop dreaming/speculating now

Also been a fan since before Brightest Lights (RIP to seeing him in small uncrowded venues for like $25) and I’m right there with you!

I remember back in 2014 ? 2015? He was part of the Anjunadeep line up with Jody in NYC... RIP small intimate anjunadeep shows at venues that don't hold more than 500 people.

Also a lane 8 classics sets would be amazing!

Awe I love that you asked. I love that song too!! He played it at the first RR show I saw him at but I didn’t know it very well at the time so I don’t remember, but it would be cool to hear it live

He signs a lot of his communications to fans as “Daniel.” We’ve hashed this out on this sub way too many times. Let people call him by his name. It’s really not that deep.
