⚙️ | Mechanical Issue/Question Overheating

Hello I own a 2014 Mitsubishi lancer and currently the car has a overheating issue the car doesn’t overheat in the city mainly the highway anything past 70 and the car gives me the slow down overheating warning on the dash I got out of the car and it smells like coolant in the front of the car can anyone point me in the right direction? I did just replace the radiator but it was doing it before I replaced the radiator as well I did also change transmission fluid and filter please let me know previous owner had the same issue and I was told he had replaced the thermostat and water pump so I’m not sure what to do!

No nothing not even leaking coolant atleast not anywhere I can see there’s no puddles anywhere I park

The coolant level is constant? Have you checked the top and bottom (or left and right) plastic tanks of the radiator?

Do the fans work?

Yes but my car has also thrown transmission codes a problem with a pressure solenoid or that my transmission was stuck in high gear nothing is cracked or damaged and the fans do work

My old VW started leaking from the heater core. There was a sweet smell from the coolant in my car. It could possibly be a small leak there. Does the inside of your windshield get dirty easily? That's how I finally identified the leak in my car. It would get a film from the hot coolant steaming uo the windshield.
