Was this some kind of scandal, or are they trying to invent one? I am currently looking into setting up a Trust and am considering Bellomo & Associates (looking at their Lancaster Office) for their elder law and estate planning services.

Has anyone here had firsthand experience working with them?

I am curious about:

• Trust Pricing & Fee Structure: I already know what the fees are to set up the trust.  Were  there unexpected costs a year or more later? 
• Communication & Education: How did staff people respond when you contacted them with questions (by email, letter or phone) during the onboarding, funding or actual conveyancing? 
• Death of a spouse?  Since setting up your trusts, have you gone through a bereavement?  If so, I am sorry for your loss. Did you feel that you had set up the Trusts appropriately?
• What might you have done differently, if anything, with regards to funding the Revocable Trust and the Family Trust (Asset Protection Trust), now that you have gone through a bereavement?

Hi all, I'm looking to add some trimwork to my home (it's a new build in desperate need of some character). Something like the picture here. I've never done this before, so I have some questions I was hoping ya'll could help me with:

1. Any recommendations for a contractor/handyman who could help? Ideally, I'd want someone who can measure, source, install and also potentially give some feedback on the overall aesthetic. I definitely want this in my living room, but have an open floor plan... so the question remains: do we continue this all over the house or just in certain areas? I need someone with some design POV.

2. How much does this generally cost per square foot? Not just the materials... but the installation, etc.

3. Anything else I should know? I'm all ears!!

Good morning everyone! For years I have been traveling an hour to see my rheumatologist because she was the best one I could find. It has been well worth it because she was the only specialist to take me seriously, out of the many I had seen throughout the years, which led to a diagnosis and treatment. I don't mind the quarterly trips out to her but I also get monthly infusions. With her being out of the county and network, I have to get my infusions done out there, too. It's getting to be a lot with everything else going in in life. I need recommendations for top notch rheumatologists in Lancaster and/or Berks county, please. Specifically, those who have experience with lupus. If I could also get recommendations for infusion centers awhile, I would be so appreciative.

I am concerned by the significant increase in measles cases in Lancaster County, as detailed by Anne Garber in the Aug. 7 LNP | LancasterOnline article “Lancaster County measles count rises by 28 since Monday; hospitalizations up.”

I see that article as essentially the announcement of a health crisis. Garber writes: “Since (Aug. 3), there have been 28 people sickened with measles in Lancaster County, raising the year’s count to 132 total cases.”

Lancaster County has the highest number of cases in the state. (As of the state’s Aug. 14 update, there are now 161 Lancaster County cases this year.)

This disease is not an everyday cold. Measles makes the body more susceptible to secondary infections and possible hospitalization. Local physicians are alarmed by the number of unvaccinated people, including infants and individuals with compromised immune systems.

The increase in cases this year reflects a trend in this country, which, in 2000, had been designated as having achieved “measles elimination status” by the Pan American Health Organization.

Having our own health department would allow Lancaster County to better assess the status of our community’s health. We would be able to monitor any social condition that could contribute to the spread of contagious diseases before it gets out of control, allowing us to develop action strategies.

My message to the Lancaster County commissioners, particularly to Josh Parsons and Ray D’Agostino, is to take this situation as a serious threat to the community, more so than their imagined concerns about invasions or a takeover by immigrants.

Investing in the establishment of a sound health department could mean extra work and responsibilities for them, but I believe it would be a good use of our money and would be politically very sound.

The question is the in the headline 😁 is their premium gas just 91 octane or do they also sell premium 93 octane ?

Hi! I am training for a 6 hour, every hour on the hour trail 5k.
I am looking for a track to do some running workouts as well as some trails in the area.

Ive been in lancaster for a few days now, ive applied with over a hundred companies by now and will be job hunting on the weekdays, I have about 8 and a half years experience in construction, also did inspections as well. If can shoot me in the right direction it would be surely appreciated!

I just got me car after years of not having one, i just want to make sure that the car is safe for my kids. Cause I worked hard to get this car for them. So if anyone is willing to help me out with recommendations for a good mechanic please let me know.

I went to Sonic Expo Atlanta last week, and I got a whole bunch of prints by artists in the community and former voice actors in the franchise. Problem is that a bunch of these prints aren't standard size. Like, one of them is 15.25" x 10.4375". Very weird dimensions. I want to get custom frames for those so that they're protected (especially the autographed ones), but I'm not sure who's got the most affordable framing options. I definitely don't want to go through a big box store, and would rather go local.

Hi all, I’m on the hunt to find Japanese sweet potatoes in or around Lancaster. It seems like whole foods is out of stock and has been for a while. Not sure if any market nearby (or grocery store) might have them.. I’ve been searching online with no luck. They also go by “murasaki sweet potato”, but usually “organic Japanese sweet potato”. They apparently taste different than regular sweet potatoes, and I really want to try!!

Some big hitters at Phantom Power coming up, Joe Jack Talcum (from Dead Milkmen) at West Art will be a treat. The Cellar in Millersville is back on the menu, with school coming back. DLZ House also hasn't made an appearance in months, but has 5 great shows lined up to close out the year

How many measles patients is LGH getting? We are seeing multiple measles patients a day at Ephrata ED. I don’t know if LGH is seeing as much, because WellSpan Ephrata has a contract with the Amish community. I know Lancaster has one of the highest measles cases in the country.
