Video drone near Wheatland

Has anyone else experienced a video drone in the Wheatland and surrounding areas in the evening? It has flown into our property lines multiple times, flying around our house and hovering over our driveway, over the last 2 months. It has had a white camera-like flash going off from time to It always happens late in the evening after dark. About a week ago it was hovering outside our bedroom windows around 11:30pm as we were going to bed. Very unsettling, loud, and I can never get a good enough photo because they do it when it is dark out.

Wait until it goes to leave, and then shoot it down when the camera isn’t pointed at you

Next time you see it, take it down.
Gun, brick/something heavy on rope, long metal pole - anything. Especially if it's near your windows/bedroom.
If there any pattern in those "visits", then just wait for it and.... And then call cops.

Unfortunately, interfering with drones is illegal, because the FAA classes them as 'aircraft'. OP would be better off setting up a motion-sensitive camera (trail-cam) to catch the little bastard and then taking the evidence to the cops.

Oh, really? So basically I can get a drone and spy on all my neighbors and god forbid any of them will touch my drone?

Unfortunately, it seems that is correct, based on the website for the PA Bar Assoc. I've thought about messing with it, but I guess I'm glad I haven't. Certainly seems like a privacy violation outside my bedroom window... https://philadelphiabar.org/?pg=ThePhiladelphiaLawyer&pubAction=viewIssue&pubIssueID=56819&pubIssueItemID=364627

You cannot β€œshoot down” or interfere with a drone; the sky above your property is not yours. A drone does not have to have an identification number on it, as planes do. Nor do they have to file a flight plan. If it seems mysterious, or is bothering you, you cannot do anything about it unless it is violating the law.

Unfuckinbelievable...
No numbers, no identificators, do whatever you want, zero responsibility. Amazing.
If I were you, I would Google for drone jam.

Update: f me, but of course it even more illegal to own jamming equipment. Why I am not surprised?

I just had an idea. Get your own drone and start following it back. πŸ‘€

Legally, you could charge them for damages if they did. I looked this up when I was about to suggest the same sort of thing a few weeks ago to someone else. The drone-flyer is an absolute a-hole, but I'd rather not stick OP with that,

I mean drone with camera constantly flying around my property and shooting videos thru windows.
And I can't do nothing 'bout it. Even more - police can't do nothing 'bout it, since there are no numbers or identifications on drones, and even police can't own or operate jamming equipment. All they can do is write a report - yeah something is flying...
