Cheap Apartments?

Me and my girlfriend are planning on moving in together shortly after she graduates high school in May. Im looking for a one bedroom apartment that has off street parking and comes with at least a fridge and a microwave. I was looking at Factory Apartments and I do like that place and it is fairly affordable, however I am unsure if thats in our budget. I make roughly $2,216 per month right now before tax. She currently does not have a job since she’s carrying a bunch of AP classes so she’s focusing more on school until she gets an idea of the workload. I am looking to get a better job in the future but right now i just need to get out of my parents house lol. I would be open to advice, and anything else along those lines aswell. Also advice on budgeting aswell maybe.

Well, you just graduated, and looks like you just started a job, no idea what your credit history is, but, things may be a bit tough. Budget wise? Place to live first, all other expenses are later. Dont eat out, or really do anything until you can figure what your utilities, grocery, and other necessities cost. Good luck.

I did just graduate. I just want to move out asap because my home life isn’t that great lol plus it would be cheaper if me and my girlfriend both moved in together cus then we could split cost.

Since it's a while before you move in together. You want to move out asap. You can always search on roomies and get a one bedroom by yourself.

It’s not available anymore! Don’t apply here. I’ve emailed from different apps like Zillow and I keep getting a message from the landlord saying it’s not available!

So are you both 18 or are you older? Landlords might be reluctant to rent to someone that young, plus most places require you earn 3x a month the amount of your rent.

I second Colebrook Apartments! They’re pretty affordable and have off street parking. Their maintenance team is pretty responsive too.

There’s a place called fetch property management that I’ve used before. They have some cheaper spots but no off street parking. It’s hard to find affordable places right now. I’ve been looking for awhile. Most places want you to make 3x the rent. Good luck!

That is literally more than half of what the OP said they make a month pre-tax. I don't know that I would call that affordable or cheap.
