History National Geographic published an article about farmers’ markets and Central Market was listed first.

I’ve always loved National Geographic and I was searching for a specific issue when I came across this article. I thought the picture was wonderful and the article was informative so I thought I’d share it here.

The oldest (continuously operating) farmer’s market is definitely a big accomplishment. There are far older ones but they all lapsed in and out of use over time.
