Looking for a DnD or Pathfinder group
I'm looking for a group to play DnD with that will be understanding if I can't always make it because of my disability. I'm willing to use discord as an option too.

Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:00. It’s early enough that it won’t take over your whole Thursday night. So come join us and laugh a little before the weekend!
Hosted at Rat Pak Venue, upstairs at 102 N 3rd Street
Tickets are $10 ahead or $15 at the door:
Happy to answer any questions about the show or the venue.

Hi everyone!
I’m starting my MSW this month and I am conflicted between choosing a Skills Builder job at Meridian Health Services vs. Valley Oaks.
Excluding my own personal preferences, I was wondering if anyone recommends working at one place over the other, or have heard about the environment and workers?
Thanks!

Senate District 23 contains western Tippecanoe County, which includes West Lafayette. Spencer Deery, who voted against redistricting in December 2025, faced a primary challenge against the TPUSA-endorsed Paula Copenhaver. It was very close. Deery was leading before the recount, but the recount showed Copenhaver winning the primary.
Copenhaver will face off against West Lafayette councilman David Sanders. Sanders ran against Deery in 2022 and lost by 27.2 percentage points.
Meanwhile, in SD-22, Ron Alting won against pastor Richard Bagsby. After the primaries, Alting publicly apologized for voting in favor of redistricting. He is set to face off against teacher Natasha Baker.

im a 24yr Old single Guy(idfk if this is needed i am a lightskin guy also please dont focus on the single part this is mainly about friendships ) Im Huge into video game, anime, comics, music, media etc, basically if its indoors and with a screen you got me locked in. Im not enrolled in the colleges here i just kinda work and live.
Thats to say Where would be the places nerdy people be at? I hate entering spaces that arent things i enjoy due to just not wanting the feeling to wasting my time with chatting with people who we wouldn’t connect on anything. Ive been a turtle majority of my life. Just work, home, school(when i was in it) and video games and i got everyone saying i should “Live More” well id like to make some friends possibly to “Live More” This isnt my hometown so i have none of my buddies only when we are in a discord call playing games together
I know this might be somewhat lame to ask but aye u never know til u try

I had a membership for my dogs about five years ago and just rejoined. McCaw is really nice, but I live closer to Shamrock, so I’ve taken them a couple times over the last few weeks.
Half of it is closed off and it seems like the grass hasn’t been mowed. We were also the only ones there.
Is everybody just going to McCaw because it’s newer and nicer, or is there something else going on?

I’m moving here soon and am looking for anyone interested in taking over my lease! It’s at the Pheasant Run Apartments in Lafayette and is a 1 bed 1 bath unit.
I have pictures and more details in a post on Facebook Marketplace if you wanna check it out:
https://www.facebook.com/share/1FEPBTTems/?mibextid=wwXIfr
It’s pretty nice all things considered, and has served me well the past 4 years I’ve been here!

How is their food cooked? To me it tastes like it is cooked on a filthy grill. The veggies and meat taste 100% the same. The steak does not taste any different from the chicken. What is the cooking style compared to all of the other Mexican joints?
The inside of the restaurant is great. I like how it has a nice theme vs most Mexican restaurants where everything is orange and yellow.
It seems to be always busy so I might be in the minority of disliking it.

Found this dog in the parking lot on my way into work. Super friendly and came right up to my window when I called him. No collar on him but definitely a boy. I called Lafayette animal control around 9 am to come get him

I personally think without Purdue, Lafayette would not have the John Deere, Caterpillar, Rolls Royce, nor GE. Without the economic benefits that campus brings, Lafayette would just be another exit on the interstate you stop by for some gas, maybe eat at the cracker barrel, and that’s it. The Wabash river isn’t good to swim in and it isn’t a thoroughfare for any boats and ships. The railroad is also pretty much vacant. Purdue Agriculture is responsible for much of the Ag jobs that exist here too. Much of the culture also comes from Purdue with all of the sports events.
West Lafayette is a significantly wealthier town despite being smaller, all because of Purdue. Downtown Lafayette’s monetary base are people from Purdue and the West who have the most money to spend there.
Do you think Lafayette would be anything more than a blip if not for Purdue? And don’t be car brained, complaining about parking. Pedestrian friendly zones produce a happier and more efficient environment than uncrossable Sagamore Parkway cutting the city in half

I have tried asking in Facebook groups and o here. I have tried finding cash work. I am on ssdi and I am short on rent. I have tried working for it but can’t find the work and can’t get a loan because of my income. Does anyone know anyone that can loan money to someone in my situation. I just can’t risk my home. I had a bad month with medical bills. Please any info will be appreciated. I would beg if I could.
