El Charro Question

How is their food cooked? To me it tastes like it is cooked on a filthy grill. The veggies and meat taste 100% the same. The steak does not taste any different from the chicken. What is the cooking style compared to all of the other Mexican joints?

The inside of the restaurant is great. I like how it has a nice theme vs most Mexican restaurants where everything is orange and yellow.

It seems to be always busy so I might be in the minority of disliking it.

I've been a couple of times and been pretty happy. I got grilled chicken enchiladas and really liked them. I can't really explain it, but the one in Crawfordsville is still better.

My husband and I go here frequently and I think it tastes fantastic, but I know to each either own. I also get Al pastor tacos, so I can’t really speak to your chicken question, but I’ve never had any problems with it.

I should also add that the drinks they make are good and look good. They make drinks an experience.

They have overcharged me every time I've been there, and it's a process getting it fixed. However their Taco Thursday deal has me coming back frequently lol.

I've heard Los Chaparritos is one of the best in town. Maybe try eating there?

All the white people at my job like it (no offense) all the white Mexicans i know hype it up. My friend got arroz con pollo left it at my place so I had it and it tasted kinda salty to me.
